Розглядається задача опису сортувальних станцій як складних об'єктів автоматизації в системах проектування уніфікованих АСУ. Запропоновано використовувати для цього онтологічні моделі, які включають об'єкти станцій від концептуального рівня до рівня сигналів на типових технологічних ділянках. Для розробки онтологій використовувався пакет Protégé.

In this article ontology of the marshalling yards is developed as objects of automation and industrial automation controllers APAX-5000 which be part of the library of ontology of computer-aided system design at the marshalling yards.
On the base of the conceptual chart of the marshalling yards offered in work [5] ontology of the classification yard is developed from three macro level of the yard to the levels of signals which are formed on typical technological areas.
For creation of ontology was used the free program Protege [8]. In the article basic design of ontology stages are described in this framework.
The developed ontology allows simply to determine the system of facts and knowledge's, used in the process of planning, design or improvement of the systems of automation for the marshalling yards.
