Статья посвящена проблеме универсалий, которая чрезвычайно важна для развития семантических исследований. Отмечается, что универсальной базой для номинации как научных, так и обыденных понятий и концептуальным ядром в мировом культурном пространстве служит философское знание, которое обусловливает появление некого метадискурса, в основе которого находится единое понятийное ядро универсальных понятий. Показано, что для выявления этимона универсальных понятий, необходимо своего рода «очищение» первоначальной природы универсального термина.

The present article is concerned with the problem of universals that is overwhelmingly important for evolution of semantic studies. It is stated that philosophic cognition is the conceptual core in the world cultural space and a universal basis for naming scientific and ordinary notions, resulting in appearance of a certain metadiscourse at the heart which there is a united conceptual core of universal notions. It is demonstrated that some kind of “purification” of the original identity of the universal term is necessary for the finding of universal concepts etymon.
